Basset Hound Collection

The Basset Hound is a scent hound of French origin, bred for centuries to trail rabbits and hare through dense undergrowth with a nose second only to the Bloodhound. Known for their impossibly long ears, soulful eyes, and unhurried gait, Basset Hounds carry themselves with a quiet dignity that belies their stubborn streak. Nicknames like the Hush Puppy, Droopy Dog, Low Rider, Sad Sack, and Basshole speak to a breed that is equal parts endearing and exasperating — and utterly impossible not to love. Our Basset Hound doormat collection celebrates this iconic breed with designs available in natural coir and all-weather woven polyester, in multiple sizes to suit any entryway.
