Belgian Malinois Peeking Doormat #1 | Belgian Shepherd Welcome Mat

The Belgian Malinois, also known as the Malinois or affectionately the Mal, began as a hardworking herding dog in Belgium. Its name comes from Malines, the French name for the Belgian city of Mechelen, where the short-coated variety became established. Known in French as the Chien de Berger Belge Malinois, it is one of Belgium's four Shepherd varieties. That quick mind and eagerness to work have since carried this Belgian Shepherd into roles ranging from detection and search-and-rescue to police work, although a good game and a job to do still make a Mal's day.

Our Belgian Malinois Peeking Doormat #1 | Belgian Shepherd Welcome Mat features a Malinois peeking from the left edge, with tall upright ears, attentive eyes and a distinctive dark muzzle framed by a simple black rectangular border. Picture that familiar alert face greeting visitors before your own Mal reaches the door. Discover more breed-inspired designs in our Dogs Collection.

Crafted from natural coir fibre (coconut husk), this mat effectively traps dirt and debris at the door. The sturdy non-slip rubber backing keeps it securely in place. Natural coir is best suited for covered or sheltered entryways — not recommended for fully exposed outdoor use.

A welcoming housewarming, birthday or holiday gift for a Belgian Malinois lover, Belgian Shepherd enthusiast or anyone who knows the lively spirit behind those watchful ears.
