Bighorn Sheep Peeking Doormat #1 | Horned Sheep Welcome Mat

The Bighorn Sheep (Ovis canadensis), often simply called the Bighorn, is a wild North American sheep with a remarkable head for heights. Males are called rams, and their impressive horns grow into great curves around the sides of their faces. Unlike deer antlers, these true horns are kept throughout the animal's life rather than shed each year. Specialized hooves with rough soles help bighorns grip rocky ledges and make those steep mountain climbs look surprisingly easy.

The Bighorn Sheep Peeking Doormat #1 features a male ram peeking from the left edge, with large ridged, curled horns, outward-pointing ears and finely detailed facial markings. His bold black illustration stands out against natural coir inside a black rectangular border, leaving an open expanse of coir to the right. Crafted from natural coir fibre (coconut husk), this mat effectively traps dirt and debris at the door. The sturdy non-slip rubber backing keeps it securely in place. Natural coir is best suited for covered or sheltered entryways, not recommended for fully exposed outdoor use.

A thoughtful housewarming or birthday gift for a sheep lover, wildlife enthusiast or someone who feels at home in the mountains, this watchful ram brings a little rugged character to the doorstep.
