Bighorn Sheep Peeking Doormat #2 | Bighorn Sheep Welcome Mat

The Bighorn Sheep (Ovis canadensis), often simply called the Bighorn, is a wild North American sheep equally at home on rocky ledges and steep slopes. Females are called ewes, and they grow slimmer, gently curving horns rather than the great curls associated with mature rams. Those horns stay with them throughout their lives, while specialized hooves and rough soles help them grip the rock beneath their feet. Ewes live in herds with their lambs, and young females generally stay with their mother's herd for life.

The Bighorn Sheep Peeking Doormat #2 features a female ewe peeking from the left edge, with ridged, backward-curving horns, outward-pointing ears and finely detailed fur. Her bold black illustration sits inside a black rectangular border on natural coir, leaving an open expanse of coir to the right. Explore more designs in our Wildlife & Farm Animals Collection.

Crafted from natural coir fibre (coconut husk), this mat effectively traps dirt and debris at the door. The sturdy non-slip rubber backing keeps it securely in place. Natural coir is best suited for covered or sheltered entryways, not recommended for fully exposed outdoor use.

A thoughtful housewarming or birthday gift for a sheep lover, wildlife enthusiast or someone who feels at home in the mountains, this watchful ewe brings a little mountain character to the doorstep.
