Boxer Dog Peeking Doormat #1 | Peeking Boxer Welcome Mat

The Boxer — also known as the German Boxer, Deutscher Boxer, Boxie, Clown of the Dog World, English Boxer, British Boxer, American Boxer, and European Boxer — is a medium-to-large breed developed in Germany in the late 19th century, descended from the now-extinct Bullenbeisser and the English Bulldog. The Boxer was officially recognised by the American Kennel Club in 1904 and has since become one of the most popular breeds in the world. Loyal, playful, and endlessly expressive, Boxers are celebrated for their boundless energy, clownish personality, and fierce devotion to their families. Their square muzzle, athletic build, and soulful eyes make them instantly recognisable — and utterly irresistible.

This coir doormat features a Boxer peeking from the side of the mat — a characterful design that captures the breed’s curious, irrepressible personality. Looking for Boxer doormats? Crafted from natural coir fibre (coconut husk), this mat effectively traps dirt and debris at the door. The sturdy non-slip rubber backing keeps it securely in place. Natural coir is best suited for covered or sheltered entryways — not recommended for fully exposed outdoor use.

A distinctive, personal gift for any Boxer household — far more thoughtful than anything off the shelf.

FAQ

1. Who is this doormat designed for?
This doormat is made for Boxer lovers — fans of the breed known as the German Boxer, Deutscher Boxer, Boxie, Clown of the Dog World, English Boxer, British Boxer, American Boxer, and European Boxer. If a Boxer has claimed your heart (and your sofa), this mat belongs at your front door.

2. What makes this doormat unique?
The design features a Boxer peeking up from the side of the mat — a playful, characterful detail that sets it apart from mass-produced welcome mats — printed on natural coir fiber, giving each mat the warm, textured look of a quality handcrafted piece rather than something you’d find in a big-box store. For more Boxer doormat styles, browse our Boxer Dog Collection.

3. What sizes are available?
This doormat comes in three sizes: 16x24" / 41x61cm (ideal for apartment doors and side entries), 18x30" / 46x76cm (the most popular size, fits most standard front doors), and 24x36" / 61x91cm (great for wider entryways and double doors).

4. Can this mat be used outdoors?
Natural coir performs best in covered or sheltered entryways — a covered porch, a recessed doorway, or an indoor hall. It is not recommended for fully exposed outdoor use where it would be subject to direct rain or standing water. If you need a fully weatherproof option, please contact us.

5. Is this a good gift for a Boxer lover?
Absolutely. It’s a thoughtful, distinctive gift for any Boxer household — whether for a housewarming, a new puppy celebration, or simply because the Clown of the Dog World deserves a proper welcome at the door. Tag us at @pupularmats — we love seeing the mats in their new home.
