California Kingsnake Peeking Doormat #1 | Peeking King Snake Welcome Mat

The California Kingsnake, also called the California King Snake or Cali King and known scientifically as Lampropeltis californiae, has quite a reputation to live up to. The “King” in its name comes from its habit of eating other snakes, including rattlesnakes. This non-venomous reptile relies on powerful coils rather than venom to catch its meals. An adaptable explorer, it makes itself at home across much of California, finding shelter beneath rocks and logs or in abandoned burrows.

This California Kingsnake Peeking Doormat #1 features a snake peeking from the edge on the left side, with a raised head, broad contrasting bands, finely detailed scales and a coiled body above rocky details, inside a black rectangular border. Crafted from natural coir fibre (coconut husk), this mat effectively traps dirt and debris at the door. The sturdy non-slip rubber backing keeps it securely in place. Natural coir is best suited for covered or sheltered entryways, not recommended for fully exposed outdoor use.

A thoughtful gift for California Kingsnake lovers, Cali King enthusiasts and reptile admirers, this striking design brings a little snake-inspired character to every homecoming.
