Clydesdale Horse Peeking Doormat #1 | Scottish Draft Horse Welcome Mat

The Clydesdale Horse, also known as the Clydesdale or Clydesdale Draft Horse, is a Scottish Draft Horse named for the River Clyde valley in Scotland. These powerful horses once helped with farm work and hauled heavy loads through busy streets. Their feathered lower legs and high-stepping movement make them easy to recognise, whether working in harness or appearing in a show ring. Today, Clydesdales continue to turn heads at parades and driving events, carrying a little of Scotland's working-horse history with them.

This Clydesdale Horse peeking coir doormat features a horse peeking from the left edge beside a wooden-style panel, with upright ears, expressive eyes and a long forelock falling across its face inside a black rectangular border. Explore related designs in our Horse, Donkey & Mule Collection, English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh Collection and Wildlife & Farm Animals Collection.

Crafted from natural coir fibre (coconut husk), this mat effectively traps dirt and debris at the door. The sturdy non-slip rubber backing keeps it securely in place. Natural coir is best suited for covered or sheltered entryways, not recommended for fully exposed outdoor use.

A thoughtful gift for Clydesdale lovers, Draft Horse enthusiasts and admirers of Scotland's equestrian heritage, this expressive portrait brings a familiar face to every homecoming.
