Greyhound Parade Doormat #1 | All-Weather | 40mph Couch Potato Welcome Mat

The Greyhound — also known as the English Greyhound, Sighthound, Gazehound, Noodle Horse, Longboi, Couch Potato, Needle Nose, Chatterbox, Snoot Rocket, and Big Noodle — is one of the oldest and most storied dog breeds in the world, with a history stretching back over 4,000 years. Depicted in ancient Egyptian tomb art and mentioned in the Bible, the Greyhound was prized by pharaohs, medieval nobility, and English royalty alike — the only dog breed named in the King James Bible. Formally recognised by the American Kennel Club in 1885, the Greyhound is the fastest dog on earth, capable of reaching 45mph, yet is equally celebrated for its extraordinary capacity for rest. That glorious contradiction — supreme athlete by day, championship sofa occupant by night — has made the Greyhound one of the most beloved companion breeds in the world.

This Greyhound all-weather doormat features rows of Greyhound silhouettes arranged in a repeating parade pattern across the mat. Looking for Greyhound doormats? Built for year-round use, this all-weather doormat is crafted from heavy-duty woven polyester with a linen-look finish and UV-cured inks that hold up against sun, rain, and heavy foot traffic. At 10mm thick with a heavy-duty non-slip backing, it performs equally well on fully exposed front steps, covered porches, and indoor entryways — no shelter required.

A distinctive, personal gift for any Greyhound household — far more thoughtful than anything off the shelf.

2. What makes this doormat unique?
The design features rows of Greyhound silhouettes arranged in a repeating parade pattern — a striking, breed-specific surface that perfectly captures the Greyhound's unmistakable aerodynamic profile — printed with UV-cured inks on a linen-look woven polyester, giving each mat a quality finish that holds up in all conditions rather than fading like cheaper alternatives. This all-weather doormat is made from heavy-duty woven polyester with UV-cured inks — meaning it won’t fade, fray, or deteriorate in rain or direct sunlight. Simply hose it down to clean. Perfect for fully exposed front doors, driveways, and outdoor spaces where a coir mat wouldn’t survive. Prefer a natural fiber option? Check out our coir version of this design.
