Italian Greyhound Peeking Doormat #1 | Peeping Mini Greyhound Welcome Mat

The Italian Greyhound — known affectionately as the Iggy, Mini Greyhound, or Dobby Dog — is one of the world’s most ancient companion breeds, refined over millennia from the swift sighthounds of ancient Egypt and Rome into the sleek, sensitive lapdog beloved by European royalty. Curious, devoted, and full of personality, the Iggy has a talent for making every arrival feel like an event. This Italian Greyhound peeking coir doormat captures that spirit perfectly — featuring a Mini Greyhound illustration peeking in from the corner, wide-eyed and ready to greet whoever comes to the door.

Made from durable natural coir fibers (coconut), this dog-themed welcome mat effectively traps dirt and debris while adding a rustic, natural touch to your entryway. The sturdy non-slip backing keeps the mat securely in place, making it ideal for front doors, porches, and covered outdoor areas. Looking for Italian Greyhound doormats? Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this doormat designed for?
This doormat is designed for Italian Greyhound lovers — anyone who shares their home with an Iggy, IG, Mini Greyhound, Miniature Greyhound, Italian Sighthound, Pocket Greyhound, or Dobby Dog and wants to celebrate the breed right at their front door. The peeking design captures the Iggy’s naturally curious, wide-eyed personality in a way that breed lovers instantly recognise.

What makes this doormat unique?
Rather than a standard breed portrait, this design features a Mini Greyhound illustration peeking in from the corner of the mat — a playful, characterful take that feels personal and breed-specific. Combined with natural coir texture and a sturdy non-slip backing, it’s a welcome mat that makes guests smile before they even knock.

What sizes are available?
This doormat comes in three sizes: 16x24" / 41x61cm, 18x30" / 46x76cm, and 24x36" / 61x91cm — fitting everything from compact apartment entries to wide double-door thresholds. Browse our full Dog Breed Collection to compare options.

Can this mat be used outdoors?
Coir is best suited to covered or sheltered areas such as a covered porch or indoor entryway — it is not recommended for fully exposed outdoor use. For areas exposed to direct rain or standing water, an all-weather polyester mat would be a more durable choice.

Is this a good gift for an Italian Greyhound lover?
Absolutely — this mat makes a thoughtful housewarming, birthday, or holiday gift for any Italian Greyhound or Iggy owner who appreciates breed-proud home décor. The peeking design gives it a playful edge that sets it apart from standard breed gifts. Tag us at @pupularmats — we love seeing Iggies peeking at front doors everywhere.
