Lion Peeking Doormat #1 | King of the Jungle Welcome Mat

The Lion — scientifically known as Panthera leo and celebrated as the King of the Jungle or King of Beasts — is unusual among cats for living in social groups called prides. Despite that famous nickname, lions are more closely associated with grasslands, savannas and open woodland than dense jungle. Most wild lions live in Africa, while the Asiatic Lion survives in and around India's Gir Forest. Lion cubs are born with spots that usually fade as they grow, and play helps them practise the skills they will need as adults.

Our Lion Peeking Doormat #1 | King of the Jungle Welcome Mat features a curious lion cub peeking from the left edge with a tilted head, rounded ears, expressive eyes and one visible paw. A black rectangular border frames the detailed illustration on textured natural coir, giving visitors a friendly little wildlife greeting; discover more nature-inspired designs in our Wildlife & Farm Animals Collection.

Crafted from natural coir fibre (coconut husk), this mat effectively traps dirt and debris at the door. The sturdy non-slip rubber backing keeps it securely in place. Natural coir is best suited for covered or sheltered entryways — not recommended for fully exposed outdoor use.

A thoughtful housewarming, birthday or holiday gift for a lion lover, safari enthusiast or wildlife fan, this curious cub brings a playful touch to a home or sheltered cabin entrance.
