Roe Deer Peeking Doormat #1 | Deer Welcome Mat

The Roe Deer (Capreolus capreolus), also known as the European Roe Deer or simply Roe, is a small woodland deer with a wonderfully watchful face. Females are called does, and their coats change from reddish brown in summer to a thicker grey-brown in winter. Despite their quiet appearance, roe deer can give a surprisingly loud, dog-like bark when alarmed. Their young are born with spotted coats that help them stay hidden among the plants while their mother feeds nearby.

The Roe Deer Peeking Doormat #1 features a female deer peeking from the left edge, with a gently tilted head, tall ears and finely marked fur. Her detailed black illustration stands out against natural coir inside a black rectangular border, with an open expanse of coir to the right. Looking for deer doormats? Crafted from natural coir fibre (coconut husk), this mat effectively traps dirt and debris at the door. The sturdy non-slip rubber backing keeps it securely in place. Natural coir is best suited for covered or sheltered entryways, not recommended for fully exposed outdoor use.

A thoughtful housewarming or birthday gift for a deer lover, wildlife enthusiast or someone who treasures a quiet woodland walk, this watchful doe brings a little forest charm to the doorstep.
