Roe Deer Peeking Doormat #2 | Deer Welcome Mat

The Roe Deer (Capreolus capreolus), also known as the European Roe Deer or simply Roe, is a small woodland deer with a wonderfully watchful face. A male is called a buck or Roebuck, and he sheds and regrows his antlers each year. Despite their quiet appearance, Roe deer can give a surprisingly loud, dog-like bark when alarmed. Their coats change from reddish brown in summer to a thicker grey-brown in winter, ready for the colder woodland months.

The Roe Deer Peeking Doormat #2 features a male deer peeking from the left edge, with a gently tilted head, alert ears and slender branching antlers. His detailed black illustration stands out against natural coir inside a black rectangular border, with an open expanse of coir to the right. Looking for deer doormats? Crafted from natural coir fibre (coconut husk), this mat effectively traps dirt and debris at the door. The sturdy non-slip rubber backing keeps it securely in place. Natural coir is best suited for covered or sheltered entryways, not recommended for fully exposed outdoor use.

A thoughtful housewarming or birthday gift for a deer lover, wildlife enthusiast or someone who treasures a quiet woodland walk, this curious roebuck brings a little forest character to the doorstep.
