Sloughi Peeking Doormat #1 | Arabian Greyhound Welcome Mat

The Sloughi — also known as the Arabian Greyhound, North African Greyhound, Berber Greyhound or Sloughi Moghrebi — is a sighthound with deep roots in North Africa's Maghreb region. Traditionally treasured by Berber communities, these athletic dogs hunted swift game across open country using their keen eyesight and speed. Their short, smooth coats and lean build reflect a heritage shaped by the region's demanding terrain and climate. At home, the Sloughi is known for close bonds with its family and a reserved manner around unfamiliar people.

Our Sloughi Peeking Doormat #1 | Arabian Greyhound Welcome Mat features a Sloughi peeking from the left edge with folded ears, soulful eyes, a long narrow muzzle and a gently tilted head. A black rectangular border frames the detailed portrait on textured natural coir, offering a quiet greeting before your own hound comes to investigate; discover more canine designs in our Sighthounds Collection, Hounds Collection and Dogs Collection.

Crafted from natural coir fibre (coconut husk), this mat effectively traps dirt and debris at the door. The sturdy non-slip rubber backing keeps it securely in place. Natural coir is best suited for covered or sheltered entryways — not recommended for fully exposed outdoor use.

A thoughtful housewarming, birthday or holiday gift for a Sloughi lover, this gentle hound portrait brings a little North African Greyhound character to an indoor entrance or sheltered porch.
