Sphynx Cat Doormat #2 | All-Weather | Hairless Cat Welcome Mat

The Sphynx — also known as Felis Catus, Felis Silvestris Catus, Alien Cat, Naked Cat, Hairless Cat, Sweater Cat, Bald Cat, Bat Cat, Dobby, Mr. Bigglesworth, Bingus, Suede Cat, Velvet Cat, and Yoda — is a breed like no other. Originating from a natural genetic mutation in Toronto, Canada in 1966, the Sphynx was developed through careful breeding programs across North America and Europe over the following decades. Despite their otherworldly appearance — wrinkled brow, enormous bat-like ears, lemon-shaped eyes, and a body entirely free of a traditional coat — the Sphynx is one of the warmest cats you will ever touch, their skin often compared to heated suede or velvet. Famously sociable and dog-like in their loyalty, they follow their people from room to room, demand closeness, and have earned a devoted global following unlike almost any other domestic breed.

This Sphynx cat all-weather doormat features a bold O-replacement design — a Sphynx illustration replaces the letter O in HOME, turning your entryway into an unmistakable breed statement. Whether you know them as Dobby, Mr. Bigglesworth, Bingus, Yoda, or the Alien Cat, this design brings breed pride to your front door in style.

What makes this doormat unique?
Rather than a standard welcome mat, this design makes the Sphynx the centrepiece — a detailed illustration replaces the letter O in HOME, creating a personalised breed statement for your entryway. Recognised by TICA and the CFA, the Sphynx descended from a 1966 Toronto mutation and has built one of the most devoted followings of any domestic breed. Printed using UV-cured inks for lasting detail and colour. For more cat doormat styles, browse our Cat Collection.

Why choose an all-weather doormat?
This mat is crafted from heavy-duty woven polyester with a linen-look finish and UV-cured inks — built to handle sun, rain, and heavy foot traffic without fading or deteriorating. The non-slip backing performs on wet surfaces, and the fully weatherproof construction means it can be used in exposed outdoor areas with no shelter required. Prefer a natural fiber option? Can this mat be used outdoors?
Yes — this all-weather doormat is fully suitable for exposed outdoor use including uncovered porches, patios, and front steps. The woven polyester construction and UV-cured inks are designed to withstand the elements year-round.

What size is available?
This doormat comes in one size: 18"x30" / 46x76cm — the standard front door mat size, suitable for most entryways.
