Trumpeter Swan Peeking Doormat #1 | Peeking Cygnus Buccinator Welcome Mat

The Trumpeter Swan, known scientifically as Cygnus buccinator and often simply called the Trumpeter, lives up to its name with a deep, trumpet-like call that carries across the water. Native to North America, it's the largest living waterfowl species, with a long neck and an impressive wingspan. Hunting once brought these swans close to disappearing from much of their range, but protection and reintroduction efforts have helped them make a remarkable comeback. Pairs often stay together for years, raising their cygnets among sheltered wetlands and shallow lakes.

This coir doormat features a Trumpeter Swan peeking from the left edge, with a curved neck, finely lined feathers and a black bill angled towards the lower left inside a black rectangular border. Crafted from natural coir fibre (coconut husk), this mat effectively traps dirt and debris at the door. The sturdy non-slip rubber backing keeps it securely in place. Natural coir is best suited for covered or sheltered entryways, not recommended for fully exposed outdoor use.

A thoughtful gift for Trumpeter Swan lovers, birdwatchers and wetland wildlife enthusiasts, this expressive portrait brings a little waterside charm to every homecoming.
