Tundra Swan Peeking Doormat #2 | Bewick's Swan Welcome Mat

There is something lovely about the arrival of Bewick's Swans, the Eurasian Tundra Swans known scientifically as Cygnus columbianus bewickii, bringing a little Arctic magic to winter wetlands. These small Swans breed in northern Russia and migrate to milder places for winter, with some reaching the UK. Their name honours Thomas Bewick, the naturalist, bird illustrator and wood engraver. Each bird has its own yellow-and-black bill pattern, distinctive enough for researchers at Slimbridge to recognise returning individuals and follow their families across generations.

Our Tundra Swan Peeking Doormat #2 | Bewick's Swan Welcome Mat features a Bewick's Swan peeking from the edge, bringing a little wetland character to your everyday welcome. A charming choice for a cottage entrance or sheltered porch, this Swan doormat celebrates a much-loved winter visitor. Crafted from natural coir fibre (coconut husk), this mat effectively traps dirt and debris at the door. The sturdy non-slip rubber backing keeps it securely in place. Natural coir is best suited for covered or sheltered entryways, not recommended for fully exposed outdoor use.

A welcoming housewarming, birthday or holiday gift for a Swan lover, birdwatcher or someone who enjoys quiet moments by the water.
